If you see comments in violation of our community guidelines , please report them. A prostitution sting led by St. George Police Department investigators led to a handful of arrests over the weekend. Authorities also arrested a woman in a separate case outside of the sting. According to probable case statements filed in their cases, SGPD conducted a series of sting operations from May 30 to June 1.
Investigators posted an online advertisement posing as a prostitute offering sexual services in the area. Barrett, Farnsworth, Johnson, Ordonez , Poglajen, Sanders and Shockley were among those who responded to the advertisement and agreed to make contact with the individual offering the service.
The men were instructed by the undercover officers to meet at specific locations where they later agreed to pay a specific amount of money in exchange for specific sexual acts.
